After a semester of great entrepreneurship lectures at BYU, conferences, speakers, books, and being associated with an amazing local entrepreneur community, it’s time to put it all to the test.
With $100 dollars, 30 days, and 10 solid business principles, we intend to set up a functioning business, cover all expenses, and earn back $100 to continue a new Hundred Dollar Business in January.
Join us by reading the blog and giving your suggestions! If you see anything we could do better/differently, or you know someone who knows someone who… you get the idea.

This is such a fantastic idea! To someone like me who has aspirations of entrepreneurship but has always been too overwhelmed by the costs of starting something, you are a tremendous inspiration!
Here’s a business idea for you: after a few more $100 Business experiments, you compile all your blog entries into a book. I’d buy it! I think it will be a great primer for anyone considering starting their own business.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your visit! I’m glad you found us.
What are your business interests?
Also, thanks for the idea! We have been tossing around the idea of doing articles/e-book, but don’t want to be presumptuous.
We’ll see how it goes… at any rate, thanks for reading!
